I've received some requests to extend the date before Star-Crossed
retires, so the new retirement date will be Sept. 1.
Even though 1 box retires, I've planted 4 news ones, and a fun 5th
box is on its way.
It's titled, 'The Minotaur's Maze', where the streets of San
Francisco become the labryinth, and directions are given in response
to questions asked by the minotaur. Some questions will require
advance research, while some have to be answered on location, so you
won't be able to plot your way through the maze in advance.
The minotaur's topics include Greek mythology, the origin of common
phrases, and San Francisco architecture & trees. I'll be
challenging, and you'll learn some interesting things by discovery!
I'm also preparing to replace the very 1st box I planted, 'Vertigo'.
It's also a puzzle and a maze, but in a different format. If it's
possible (and it is), to dedicate a letterbox to someone,
the 'Vertigo' box is in honor of one of my colleagues, Mimulus.
Ciao! Happy hunting!

Not to delay the inevitable, but would you consider waiting to pull the
box until after the Labor Day weekend? I don't know how many others may
take the 3-day weekend to try to get it, but I know I'll be in San
Francisco then & would love to stamp in.
